happy chinese new year(: yay. whoa its been like such a rush this year. BUT im totally loving and enjoying it. YAY. (: okay first last night (eve) when to grandmas (mum) house for steamboat reunion dinner. it was a 'small one'. (: which means our family, plus the grands, plus my uncles family. so theres like 10 in total. SMALL(: anyway. in the morning (new year day!) went to grandmas (mum) again. for lunch(: PERENAKAN FOOD! yums. hee~ and thats where all my grandads (mum) side of the family gathers. LOADS of family(: = more hongbao(: YAY. there were like more than 20 there... YAY hongbao(: okay. than we went to grandaunt joyce (grandads (mum) sister) to visit her. cos she wasnt feeling well enough to gather at grands place ): ANYWAY next we went to my great granddaddys house (my grandmas (mum) dad). thats where all my grandmas (mum) side of the family gathers. YAY more hongbao(: we took like silly zodiac pictures. hahas(: they kept calling different zodiacs to take with lao gong (ggdaddy) XD. it was kinda fun(: and i remembered to bring my camera this year too! so double yay. plus we did the whole take a picture together and see who looks like who thing. hahas(: okay after that we went to GRANDaunt nancys house (my grandmas (mum) sister) to collect the remaining hongbaos(: all the old fogeys who always go visiting early in the morning to AVOID the whole hongbao issue were there(: well we caught them. hahas(: mi wanted to stay longer to see them play mahjong cos everytime they win they give out money XD HAHAS. but we HAD to move on. SAD. okay LAST stop for today was at grandads (dad) house for ANOTHER steamboat reunion dinner. just got back (: there was SOO much food lar. im like stuffed beyond stuffed. hee~ but its a good stuffed. took some more pictures there. im SOO glad i remembered to bring my camera this year(: it just makes it all feel right. (: and when we got back met cheryl and mum. and the mums kept talking and talking lar... not that it was BAD and i hated it and all... but all i really wanted to do was pee. and they didnt want to let me... XD anyway now im back home. FINALLY. this year was like busier than the rest for some reason lar. xP but im still happy. YAY all the food and hongbaos(: well tonight need to sleep early. still have LOADS of places to visit tmr. whee~ i realised my family is like super big lar. plus the visiting is like super complicated. hahas. cos the extended family is like WHOA. hahas(: but its fun. got so many people(: HEE~ cos most people only have like mums side and dads side. i have mums mum side. and mums dad side. hahas(: YAY i love CNY(:
